So here are a few pink things before I break down and re-do her room. I love her name in curly letters with pink gingham bows. I just LOVE gingham!
This is a Tracy Porter chandelier with hanging pink crystals and little crystals in the flower centers. I covered the shades with fabric and green bead trim. I also made the pink gingham cord cover.
I love this sign that hangs in her room. I think I will put it in her playhouse when we redecorate her room.
Have a Happy Pink Saturday and don't forget to visit all of the other pinkies out there in blog land listed here.
I just love the colors and accessories of her room!!
ReplyDeleteMy little Jillian (she's almost 7 months old) has a shabby chic room in green and pink too.
Have a fabulous weekend!

Your daughter's room looks lovely. You'll have to show how the redecoration project turns out. Take care.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE your little daughter's shabby room, but they do form their own opinions!!! You did a wonderful job with the decor! I know the next "look" will be equally wonderful. I love your door decor and I'll make a deal with you. If you let me go with your group to the Sound of Music Sing a Long, YOU can go "thrifting" with me any old time!!!
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend!!! dana
My 10 year old has lavender with leapord print, I talked her out of powerpuff girls! Happy pink!
ReplyDeleteI think I will like it when it gets purpled. Happy Pink Saturday!
ReplyDeleteThank you for your comment on my blog. I love that pink rose chandelier! Your style is very nice. It seems like every daughter goes through the "purple" stage. I am knitting two neck warmers for my friend's grand-daughters. One loves pink and the other love purple - go figure.
ReplyDeleteHappy Pink Saturday.
Take care,
Susan
Happy Pink Saturday, Donna.
ReplyDeleteI think her room is darling, but they all go through that period of wanting a change.
Sheridan's room is adorable !! Love her sweet pink chandelier !! :)
ReplyDeleteHappy Pink Saturday !! :)
That chandelier is gorgeous! I am a lampaholic, and it's so hard to find wonderful, girly lamps over here. Yours is great! Thanks for sharing. :-) Stacey
ReplyDeleteWell we all know you will create a beautiful look for her! We'll want pictures of course!
ReplyDeleteHi Donna!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the warm welcome to my first first Pink Saturday!
My daughter did the same thing growing up -her room was first pink, then she changed it to purple as a teen ager. It's best to let them have what they want.
I love her name --very unique!
Hugs, Pat
I just love her room. When my oldest was 2 or 3 I did her room in similar colors. When she was about 8 she decided she wanted the walls to be painted a turquoise/aqua color and she chose a Hawaiian theme (not really my first choice). Now she's 11 and back to pink and green, shabby chic. So hang in what goes around comes around.
ReplyDeleteHello Donna, what a pretty room for a girl. You did a great job decorating. Happy Pink Saturday!
ReplyDeleteLove, Ann

Awwww they grow up to fast don't they. If it makes you feel any better (or hopefully not worse, lol) My Daughter just turned 13. She has went through every color phase imaginable. We had the sweet pink room, the wild orange and lime green room, the pretty purple room, the fun lime green purple and aqua room, and now are to the Hot pink and black room which has a certain elegance to it. Hang in there Mom : )
