If you are a regular visitor to my blog (thank you!) you know I mention I get a lot of my furnishings from the Rose Bowl Swap Meet. Cindy, from Cute Pink Stuff, mentioned that she had never been but would like to go and that she was waiting for her husband to take her. I knew it was up to me to intervene so I offered to give her the Grand Tour. Though we had never met each other before, we had a great time together!. It was as if we knew each other for years. Cindy arrived at my home at 7 am, made a quick stop at Starbuck's
and it was off to the Rose Bowl!
We started at my favorite booth (where I get most of my stuff) at Leila's, Booth #B1. When Cindy first got to my house, she immediately sat down on my bench on the front porch. I told her that it was from Leila! Below is one of her benches she had for sale today.
I just LOVE blue & white dishes!
A pink chandelier. Maybe I should have keep this a secret for a Pink Saturday post!
More chandeliers!
A fun Halloween display
I could have have just plopped onto this bench!
Leila made this fun birdhouse light. It sold very quickly!
One of Leila's chandeliers. She has made 3 of them for me. I bring her the tea cups and tea pots and then she makes the shades, chain cover and puts it all together for me for $100.
Vintage Christmas gift tags and stickers.
Vintage Christmas picks
This is a "Los Angeles" mannequin. I assume she visited one of the surgeons on Dr. 90210.
Adorable jewelry
These are my finds. A silver tray(quite heavy), a glass jar and a vintage baseball bat. My youngest son has a vintage baseball room and I will come up with something fabulous to do with the bat. Cindy got some great deals on a wrought iron tea cart, piano bench, wooden sewing caddy, covered silver butter dish and some iron wreaths. On the way home, we stopped at my favorite tea shop, The Tea Gardens, for a pumpkin scone. I am so glad I met a new friend! Thanks Cindy!
