Pink Strawberry Saturday

Dawn over at Not Just a Mommy gave me this lovely blog award a few weeks ago. I'm finally feeling like myself again so I would like to pass it along.

Your blogs inspire me on a daily basis!!!!
-----**********---------***********------------*********-------

I delivered 2 parties for this weekend - Mary Poppins and
Strawberry Shortcake Best Friend's Tea party.

Remember I painted that strawberry tree mural a few weeks ago?
Well here is the party that it goes with...

The guests dress up in pink feather boas and Strawberry Shortcake hats.

They play musical chairs and have a tea party.

No, I didn't make the cake. It's from Regal International.

I did make the napkin rings though :)
The best part of the party is when the girls get to stuff their own dolls and decorate t-shirts for them. The dolls also get cute little denim skirts to complete the ensemble.
Happy Pink Saturday!

  13. How cute! I remember when my daughter was a huge fan of Strawberry Shortcake--she (SS) has survived after all these years. I even made my daughter a SS dress out of fabric imprinted with the designs!

Your ideas just amaze me--very, very creative gal.

    Glad you're feeling better!

Happy Pink Sat and Happy Spring!

  31. OMG! This is adorable. My little girl had her 1st birthday done in Strawberry Shortcake. Also, I was going to ask you- I see that you are a party planner and I have seriously been wanting to get into this business so bad but I am afraid with the economy and just cause. Would you mind if I sent you a email and asked you some questions about it such as how you got started and so forth? If not, that's fine, but I would really appreciate it if you don't mind. Please let me know. Daisy~

  32. This is the first time for me to be looking at your blog. Your parties look fabulous-so creative. The napkin rings in this post look like hair thingies. I don't think that you mentioned if they were. I thought it would be a good idea regardless-napkin rings that double as wearable party favors.
