Oh Donna what a special gift your Grandmother passed on to you! Loved my Grandmothers for their sewing talents to! The dress you are making is beautiful!
Love the chairs! Sewing is always something I've wanted to learn, but just haven't gotten around to it yet. My grandmother was actually a professional seamstress!
It's funny that you mention this, as I've been thinking a lot lately about the skills that I want to pass along to my children. (aside from my obsessive tendencies when party planning, of course!)

I have the gift of recognizing and appreciating the fine work of others.
ReplyDeleteThat is so great. You are very talented!!
ReplyDeleteGratitude is grand(ma)! I, too, have been sewing, but I learned from a class in middle school!
ReplyDeleteDonna, this May 9th may be our chance to get together! I'm selling at The Little French Flea Market in West Hills. Details on my blog!
That chair is so chic! I wish I had learned how to sew. That is so nice that your grandma taught you :)
ReplyDeleteAll the best,
Allison
