On Mother's Day, Sheridan and I cleaned out her playhouse. After months of neglect, there was a lot of work to be done. We had to sort the dishes from the food and stack all of the tea sets.
We washed the floor and I re-painted her ladder and loft.
She was so excited to have a clean house...
she woke up on Monday morning at 5:30 am.
She went outside to her playhouse to make me "breakfast".
At 6:00 am, she stood over me while I was lying in bed and woke me up to invite me to her house for breakfast.
She served waffles, eggs sunny side up, croissant and tea. We had such a wonderful time. It was a wonderful start to a long week.
Next week, I'm making some curtains for the windows.
Happy Pink Saturday!
Thanks again to the wonderful Beverly at How Sweet the Sound for hosting this amazing event week after week!

ReplyDeleteOh my gosh.. My sister and I would have thought we died and went to heaven if we could have played in a set up like this!!! Hope you had a Happy Pink Saturday, and have a wonderful week ahead!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great playhouse! Do you have pictures of the outside anywhere on your blog? We have a playhouse, and I love it! It brings up fond memories of the playhouse I enjoyed as a child. Ours is small enough, though, that our 10-year-old can't stand up straight inside now. I wish it were bigger so my girls won't feel rushed out of it when they still want to play in it. Ours is due for a spring cleaning, but first it needs a Daddy once-over to be sure no bees, wasps or yellow jackets have taken up residence inside!
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet playhouse. I'd never want to leave it....lol!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea to have movie night! I'll have to tell my sister about that as she has a wonderful backyard to do this in.
