It's Cookie Time!

It's Girl Scout cookie time! Did you place your order yet? Our cookies just arrived and Sheridan sold 81 boxes! We sorted them and wrapped them up in orange ribbon.

If someone bought more than 4 boxes, we put them in brown shopping bags.

Each person who bought cookies gets a thank you note from Sheridan. I even found a website that has recipes using Girl Scout cookies. Our troop is using our earnings for a trip to Sea World in San Diego to sleep with the Manatees in April. Please support your local Girl Scout troop when you see them selling out in front of your local stores. You don't even need to buy the cookies, they accept donations as well.

  6. Love the ribbon idea! I ordered tons from Trinity and sadly I won't get eat even one. I am sending all mine to our men and women in Iraq. Our neighbors son just went there and had called home to order a few boxes to be sent there to him and his buddies. That gave me the idea to give mine to them too. After all, not to WW friendly! So better they get them and eat them. It's also a little way to say thanks for protecting our country to our brave men and women.

Trinity's troop is also going to sell at the stores and they are putting out a box that they will ship to Iraq if people want to buy a box for our troops. The girls wrote letters and cards to send with them.

    Hugs,
    Joanne

  11. You are so stinkin' cute. Love that idea. Not just throwing a box of cookies at someone, but handing it politely with a thank you. LOL!
