Safari Party

Last Monday, I pulled my back out while cleaning the shower. Clearly a sign from above that I should not be doing any type of housework ever again! I was on 800mg Ibuprofen round the clock for 5 days until...
I caught a cold and started hacking and I lost my voice for 2 days. I have now moved onto the "going through a box of tissues every few hours" stage. So much for having some time off from my party planning business. Last weekend was my first open weekend since February. I really wanted to start some sewing projects with my daughter and help her earn her sewing badge for Girl Scouts along with a few projects around the house that have been neglected for far too long.

So as I recover, check out this adorable safari 1st birthday celebration by No Fuss Fabulous!

Sure hope you are better and back to 100% soon.

I'm going to be Trinity's girl scout leader this year. So I'll be doing the badge thing myself :) Plus I plan to have several parties for the girls through out the year.

I'm going to have to go through your blog and get some ideas from you :)

Hugs,
Joanne

Bless your heart! I hope you are feeling good now and have learned your lesson about housework. It is dangerous! Better to focus on the creative stuff, which is much better for you.

Hi Donna! Hope you are feeling lots better by now!! What a bummer.

This party is darling....and so was your post about the family reunion! I hope one day you'll be back, visiting relatives in KS, and I can meet up with you!! :) I could pretend to be your long lost Aunt Dana!! :)
