Easter Cupcakes

I made strawberry cupcakes to bring to my mom's Easter dinner. The "grass" is edible and I got it from WalMart. It even came in pink and blue. Happy Easter!

Donna, I love your cupcakes and can't wait to see the pictures of your completed re-do -- especially the tea-themed chandelier! I hope that broken arm didn't interfere with any Easter egg hunting over the weekend.

I wanted to pick your brain about Carson's upcoming birthday party. He will be 11 and wants a simple party for all his guy friends to come over for the afternoon with to play video games. I have finally come up with some invitation ideas, but so far am stumped on ways to carry this theme into the decor and food. I saw precious Mii cupcakes on Bakerella but don't know if I'll have time for a project that time-intensive. I wondered if you have done a video game themed party or might have any ideas for decor menu and favors.

The party will be on the 17th, so please let me know if you have any ideas! (melissalester@elmore.rr.com)
