Pink Spa Saturday

For the last few weeks, I have been quite stressed. Spring baseball has started and my son has practice 4 times a week at 4 different places. Chasen had to have an eye exam before we got him a new pair of sport glasses. He is a Weblos Cub Scout and is bridging to Boy Scouts in a few weeks, so we have visited 3 different troops in one week. My son decided to join the last troop we visited, Troop 2. Sheridan has ballet class and everyone needs help with homework. Matt went to the orthodontist and I had to get my taxes together for Party Wishes. I have delivered a Fairy party, I'm setting up a French Poodle party on Saturday and I hosted a High School Musical party last weekend for 13 -6 year olds. I would like a trip to the spa!
Before I make my appointment for a massage, I thought I would share my Spa Girlz party that I host for girls aged 7-16. The facial table has Maribou covered mirrors, faux aromatherapy candles and custom labeled water bottles. The guests wear pink fluffy robes as they make their own custom lip gloss and body lotion. I have a foot massage machine and plenty of "girl" magazines. I love teaching girls about taking care of themselves.

I show the girls how to clean their skin; I have them apply a Mint Julep mask and as it dries, they wear a cool eye mask and I lead them through some deep breathing and relaxation techniques. I also go over the importance of wearing sunscreen.
After the facial, we have a quiz about the birthday girl and have a scavenger hunt or play Musical Toe Nail Polish. The girls sit in a circle with their feet in the center. They each get a bottle of nail polish. I start the music and they pass the bottles of polish. When the music stops, they have to paint only one toe nail with the color.
We do this 10 times until the have technicolor toes!

This is my most popular party...I wonder why!
Go and pamper yourself...you deserve it!
One way to do that is to check out all of the other fun pinkness at Beverly's.

Oh, Donna!! This is the BEST yet!! Can I pretend I'm 16 again so I can qualify for this Pink Spa Party? It looks so dreamy!!

Actually, my friends (Breakfast Group) and I have talked about having a Spa Weekend in my family room in the basement!! That was before my daughter moved back home while she attends nursing school--she's taken over that room!! One day, we will do that--we all have great "pampering" tools to contribute to the fun!! I don't think we would look nearly as "cute" as your little girls did at their Spa Party!!

YOU need a break--I hope you block out some time for yourself!!

Happy Pink Saturday!!

Once again, you have outdone yourself! What a fabulous party - I especially love the Musical Toe Nail game!

I can completely relate to the whole baseball thing - my son's spring season started a few weeks ago and the coach wants to practice sooo much - I think the coaches forget that the kids are only 9 year olds & that they have homework and other activites going on.

I was thinking about your Adventure party and was wondering if you would like to include mini first aid kits in the bags? I have tons of coupons for Johnson & Johnson travel sized first aid kits. The coupon is $3/2 J&J first aid products and you can get the trial sized ones at Walmart or Target for 97¢ each - making them free! The little boxes are white plastic so they would be perfect to personalize. They are filled with 12 differnt first aid items, including band-aids & gauze pads. Let me know if you'd like me to send the coupons your way (they don't expire until the end of March) and how many you need!

WHat a great party. The girls look like they are really into it. Of course, who does not want to be pampered and beautiful. I bet they go home and MAKE their Moms take them to a beauty place to buy some products to start their own routine.
